How to: Edit a freeform object.
Solution:
Select the freeform object, and select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Edit Freeform Object'.
1) Select (single-click) the desired freeform object. (Handles appear around the border.)
2) Select 'Edit Freeform Object' form the 'Edit' menu. (Handles appear at each point of the freeform object.)

3) Make the desired changes.
4) Select 'Close Freeform Object' from the 'Edit' menu to deselect the freeform object.
